״Krypton״ Canceled at Syfy

Cameron Cuffe in "Krypton"

Syfy has decided to pull the plug on the Superman prequel series.

Krypton has been canceled after two seasons. According to sources, the series about Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, was canceled due to low viewership. News of the cancellation comes days after Krypton aired its season 2 finale.

The show’s lead, Cameron Cuffe, took to social media and shared an emotional post.

“The beautiful thing about comic books is that the story always continues. All you can do as an artist is to leave it better than you found it. I believe we did just that. I feel boundless love and pride for the Krypton family and above all I feel gratitude. I spent 3 years living a dream. I will always be a proud son of House El and a proud son of Krypton. Keep believing in a better tomorrow.”

The show also starred Colin Salmon and Georgina Campbell.
