The Critics’ Choice Awards returned to Santa Monica on Sunday night and paid homage to the best films and TV shows of the past year. FX’s culinary dramedy The Bear and Netflix’s twisted mini-series Beef emerged as the top winners in the TV field, with four awards each.

The Bear came into the night with four nods and managed to win all the awards it was nominated for. It stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach won acting awards for their respective performances.

Beef was named the best limited series, while its leading duo Ali Wong and Steven Yeun won awards for best actress and actor in the limited series or movie made for television. Maria Bello also won a Critics’ Choice Award for her supporting turn in this series.

The final season of Succession was rewarded with three accolades, including the best drama series, beating the likes of The Crown, The Last of Us, and The Morning Show. Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook won acting awards for their respective performances, bringing the show’s total to three awards.
