Volume 2 introduced us to Stranger Things’ most compelling villain and revealed that Vecna, Henry Creel, and 001 happen to be the same person. Volume 2 took things up a notch, revealing more about his connection to Upside Down and how he was responsible for creating the Mind Flayer.

Max Escapes Death

Max Mayfield spent most of Season 4 trying to escape Vecna’s clutches, but did she manage to make it out alive? She went through another near-death experience in Volume 2 and was left lying in a hospital bed in a coma at the end of the season, and fans are holding onto hope this won’t be her last hurrah.

Eddie’s Final Stand

The Season 4 finale featured several shocking deaths, but none of them hurt more than the demise of a new fan-favorite Eddie Munson. After running and hiding for the entirety of Season 4, he decided to finally stand his ground and lure Demobats away from the rest of the gang to help them defeat Vecna.
