2024 is slowly coming to an end, and our favorite TV networks and streaming services are wrapping it up in style. December is bringing many amazing new shows our way, and here are five animated series, sci-fi epics, crime dramas, and star-studded comedies worth checking out in the next few weeks.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (Disney+, December 2)
Disney+ has given us several amazing Star Wars series over the years, and this one centers on a group of kids desperately trying to find their way back home after getting lost in the galaxy.
Secret Level (Prime Video, December 10)
Amazon’s animated anthology series Secret Level consists of 15 stories inspired by iconic video games, ranging from God of War and Dungeons & Dragons to nostalgic classics such as Pac-Man.
Dream Productions (Disney+, December 11)
Another animated series worth checking out, Pixar’s Dream Productions is set in the world of Inside Out. The original director Pete Docter says it will explore “the power of dreams and how they affect us in our waking life”.
No Good Deed (Netflix, December 12)
The cast of Netflix’s next star-studded series includes Ray Romano, Lisa Kudrow, Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, and Teyonah Parris, and centers on three families desperately trying to buy the same house.
Dexter: Original Sin (Paramount+, December 13)
This prequel series takes us years before the events of Dexter and sees the titular serial killer coming to terms with his bloodthirsty urges and learning how to use them for the greater good.
