This June marks the comeback of many beloved shows, from The Bear to House of the Dragon, but it will also bring several new series our way. If you’re in the mood to add some new shows to your watchlist this month, here are five you shouldn’t miss.
Clipped (Hulu, June 4)
Set in the world of professional basketball, this mini-series will see the famed coach Doc Rivers trying to make his mark with the Los Angeles Clippers in the wake of a major scandal involving the team’s former owner Donald Sterling.
The Acolyte (Disney+, June 5)
This Star Wars series takes place during the final days of the High Republic era and sees a respected Jedi Master crossing paths with a former Padawan while investigating a series of crimes.
Fantasmas (HBO, June 7)
Fantasmas sees Julio Torres embarking on a quest across New York to find a golden oyster earring. It will certainly create a lot of buzz thanks to its star-studded guest ensemble, which includes Emma Stone, Alexa Demie, Julia Fox, and Bowen Yang.
Presumed Innocent (June 12)
Led by Jake Gyllenhaal, this limited series sees chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich trying to prove his innocence after a colleague he was having an affair with is found dead.
Orphan Black: Echoes (June 23)
The spin-off of the popular sci-fi series Orphan Black stars Krysten Ritter as a woman trying to unravel the mystery of her identity after undergoing a procedure that left her with no memories of who she is.
