Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh leads this action comedy about a Taipei gangster who must travel to Los Angeles to protect his mother and brother after his crime boss father winds up dead.
Echo (January 9, Disney+/Hulu)
Disney’s latest Marvel series centers on the deaf superhero Maya Lopez aka Echo, who must leave New York behind and come to terms with her past in her hometown in Oklahoma.
Griselda (January 25, Netflix)
Modern Family’s Sofía Vergara leads this Netflix mini-series about the exploits of the notorious criminal mastermind Griselda Blanco.
Expats (January 26, Amazon Prime Video)
Created by The Farewell’s Lulu Wang, this Amazon series is led by Nicole Kidman and centers on three American women dealing with many ups and downs while living in Hong Kong.
Masters of the Air (January 26, Apple TV+)
Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Barry Keoghan star in this high-profile war drama about the 100th Bomb Group of the US Army Air Forces, who became known as the “Bloody Hundredth” after fighting the Germans in World War II.
