It’s been over a decade since the hit British series Skins ended its run, but its amazing cast isn’t going anywhere. Many of its cast members are making waves with their new projects this year, so it’s a better time than ever to look back at the biggest stars who came out of this show.

Dev Patel

Dev Patel recently made his directorial debut with Monkey Man, but his track record has been pretty impressive long before that. His star has been on the rise since Slumdog Millionaire, and he received an Oscar nod for Lion, in addition to starring in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The Green Knight, and TV series The Newsroom.

Kaya Scodelario

Kaya Scodelario is also one of the Skins stars who recently made a major comeback with the role in the Netflix series The Gentlemen. Her notable credits also include the Maze Runner series and the lead role in Netflix’s Spinning Out.

Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya’s Skins character Posh Kenneth was only a supporting player, but that didn’t stop him from becoming the show’s most acclaimed actor. He led the hit films Get Out, Nope, and Black Panther and won an Oscar for his supporting turn in Judas and the Black Messiah.

Jack O’Connell

Jack O’Connell is one of the most successful actors in the second generation of Skins, who broke into Hollywood with the lead role in Unbroken. We’ll soon see him in Back to Black, but his filmography also includes roles in films Starred Up and Lady Chatterley’s Lover and the mini-series Godless.

Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas Hoult probably has the most impressive filmography among Skins alums, which includes everything from the X-Men series to acclaimed films Mad Max: Fury Road, Warm Bodies, and The Menu. He received an Emmy nomination for The Great and recently joined James Gunn’s Superman as Lex Luthor.
