Beloved fantasy drama Charmed recently got a reboot treatment by The CW, which reminded us just how awesome this show was. Piper is Always There
Piper Halliwell, played by Holly Marie Combs, is the only sister that appears in every single episode of Charmed including the first pilot that was unaired. Pay attention to that when you start rewatching it again.

Speaking of Holly Marie Combs, the actress met her husband David Donoho on set. The couple married in 2004 but decided to get a divorce in 2011.

Finola Hughes, who played sisters’ mom Patty, has been receiving most fan-mail related to the show despite sporadically appearing on the show.
The Book of Shadows
The Book of Shadows, sisters’ book of witchcraft, was almost entirely hand painted and was the most expensive prop on the show. After the series ended, showrunner Brad Kern and Holly Marie Combs agreed to share a custody of the book, changing possession each year.

Friend Effort
Shannen Doherty was the first actress to be cast for Charmed, getting the role of the eldest sister Prue. She then blackmailed the producers to cast her best friend Holly Marie Combs as Piper, threatening to leave the project.
Budget Cuts
Each episode of Charmed had a producing cost of around $2 million, which affected both the story of the series and its cast. In order to cut down the budget, the creative team decided to write of Dorian Gregory’s character Darryl Morris and reduce the role of Brian Krause who played Leo Wyatt. This is also why Alyssa Milano’s character Phoebe lost the power of levitation.
