A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms recently kicked off production, and its cast is getting bigger by the day. Edward Ashley, Henry Ashton, and Youssef Kerkour are the latest stars to join the ensemble of HBO’s next Game of Thrones spin-off.
A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms will be set about a century before the events of the original series, and it will center on two unlikely heroes wandering Westeros – Ser Duncan the Tall, and his young squire Egg.
“Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends,” reads the show’s official logline.
Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell will lead the cast as Dunk and Egg, and they were previously joined by Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, and Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen.
Seven more cast members have just been added to the cast of this project, including Henry Ashton (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) as Daeron Targaryen, Edward Ashley (Masters of the Air) as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Youssef Kerkour (House of Gucci) as Steely Pate, Daniel Monks (Kaos) as Ser Manfred Dondarrion, Shaun Thomas (How to Have S-x) as Raymun Fossoway, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Avengers: Infinity War) as Plummer, and Danny Webb (The Regime) as Ser Arlan of Pennytree.
