Chadwick Boseman’s sudden passing took the world by storm, and his co-stars and fans around the world spent the last few days celebrating his legacy. The Black Panther star was best known for his portrayals of iconic historical figures in feature films, but he also delivered several amazing TV performances before making it big in Hollywood.

Persons Unknown

This mystery series followed a group of strangers who find themselves imprisoned inside a small ghost town, including a level-headed Marine Graham McNair played by Boseman.

Lincoln Heights

Lincoln Heights was the late actor’s first major TV project. It centered on a police officer who moves to LA’s neighborhood Lincoln Heights, in an attempt to help his old community.

All My Children

We’re singling out Boseman’s role in this soap opera only because it was his first. He was let go after voicing concerns about the stereotypical nature of the role, and the producers replaced him with his future Black Panther co-star Michael B. Jordan.

Saturday Night Live

Boseman isn’t necessarily known as a comedic actor, but his hosting gig on SNL proved to the world that he feels comfortable making fun of himself. The “Black Jeopardy” clip where he reprised his Black Panther role was pure comedy gold.
