Abbott Elementary is one of the funniest shows on TV right now, and things are about to get even more hilarious! ABC dropped the first trailer for the upcoming third season of the Golden Globe-winning comedy series.

The Season 3 trailer mostly focuses on Ava (Janelle James) taking her role as a principal more seriously after attending a course at Harvard over the summer. The short promotional clip also offers glimpses of Janine and Gregory’s (Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams) will-they-won’t-they relationship, while also showing the rest of the staff struggling with the “new Ava”.

Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph are also coming back in Season 3, and they’ll be joined by several newcomers. Josh Segarra (The Other Two), Kimia Behpoornia (Hacks) and Benjamin Norris (Never Have I Ever) were added to the cast earlier this week as the trio are the good-natured Philadelphia school district representatives trying to bring a fresh perspective to Abbott.

Season 3 of Abbott Elementary will arrive on ABC with a two-episode premiere on February 7, and it will feature a total of 14 episodes.
