ABC has checked out of Grand Hotel.
The series followed the lives of the wealthy owners of the last family-owned hotel on the Miami strip and their many employees and guests.
Desperate Housewives actress, Eva Longoria, produced the drama which was originally adapted from a Spanish series and starred Demian Bichir, Roselyn Sanchez, Denyse Tontz, Bryan Craig, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Lincoln Younes, Shalim Ortiz, Anne Winters, Chris Warren, Feliz Ramirez, and Justina Adorno.
The show’s first season concluded last month, with the network now deciding not to renew it for a second.
In July, President of ABC Entertainment, Karey Burke said that the network was underwhelmed by the summer show’s performance, but would wait until it wrapped its run to make a decision on its future.
Perhaps that is what is meant by “turn down service…”
