Severance is one of the most mind-blowing sci-fi shows to hit our screens in recent years, and its second season will be one wild rollercoaster. Apple TV+ teased the show’s next chapter with a brand-new teaser that sees Adam Scott heading back to Lumon and trying to uncover the mysteries that lie within.
Scott leads the cast of Severance as Mark Scout, a team leader at Lumon Industries, a sinister corporation whose employees agreed to undergo a “severance procedure” that divides their memories between their work and personal life. After some time, he starts wondering about the true nature of his work and finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that could forever change the fate of Lumon.
According to the show’s Season 2 logline, Mark and his friends will “learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.” The new teaser trailer sees him heading back to Lumon, and being welcomed by supervisor Seth Milchick, after realizing his co-workers have been replaced.
In addition to Scott, Severance also stars Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Several newcomers will join the cast in Season 2, including Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban, Merrit Wever, Robby Benson, and Sarah Bock.
Severance will return to Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025, with ten new episodes.
