It’s been years since Adventure Time ended its run, but it seems we’ll soon be reunited with Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and the rest of the gang. Cartoon Network Studios is plotting three new projects set in this universe, including one film and two spin-off series.

The theatrical Adventure Time film had been in development long before the original series ended its run, but it never saw the light of day. After years with no new developments, Cartoon Network announced that the movie is still in the works at the Annecy Animation Festival.

They addressed the future of this franchise ahead of Warner Bros. Animation’s focus panel, telling Variety that they’re still working on the Adventure Time film. They rounded out an impressive lineup of animation superstars, including Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar, Over the Garden Wall co-creator Patrick McHale, and Adventure Time showrunner Adam Muto.

They’re also working on two spin-off series, including the recently green-lit Adventure Time: Side Quests, which will center on the young Finn dreaming of epic quests and monster fights with his best friend, Jake the Dog. Adventure Time: Heyo BMO is also in the works, and it will see the lovable video game console BMO facing challenges in his new neighborhood. Both shows will be geared towards a younger audience.
