The voice cast of Hulu’s The Bravest Knight is pretty star-studded, and it’s about to get even better in Season 2. The streamer is bringing this animated series back five years after it first aired, and Alan Cumming and Jane Lynch are the latest major stars to board this project.

The Bravest Knight centers on Sir Cedric, a former pumpkin farmer who becomes the greatest knight in the eyes of his 10-year-old daughter while telling her the stories of his exploits across the lands while preparing her to follow in his footsteps.

The show’s second season comes five years after its premiere in 2019, and it will see the younger Cedric (T.R. Knight) and his troll companion Grunt (Bobby Moynihan) traveling across a fantasy kingdom. Millie Davis will take over from Storm Reid as the voice of Sir Cedric’s daughter Nia.

Wilson Cruz, Christine Baranski, Teri Polo, and Steven Weber will also return for Season 2. They’ll be joined by Cumming as the voice of the pompous schemer Sheriff Reginald and Lynch as a vegetarian ogre Lug Lug.

The Bravest Knight was created for Hulu by Daniel Errico, who released a statement saying he’s “thrilled by the show’s reception and excited for the chance to reveal the next chapter of the story, brought to life by a remarkable cast.”
