After a long journey to the silver screen, the adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens is reaching its final chapter. The fan-favorite fantasy series has been renewed for its third and final season by Amazon Prime Video.

Over the course of the previous two seasons, Good Omens took us on a delightful journey through heaven and hell with its leading duo: the demon Crowley (David Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen).

After getting used to a pleasant life on Earth, Crowley and Aziraphale had to join forces to prevent the Armageddon from happening. The second season shifted the gears, and it saw this unlikely duo trying to help the Archangel Gabriel after he lost the memory of who he is.

In addition to Tennant and Sheen, the ensemble cast of this acclaimed series also featured the likes of Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson, Michael McKean, Derek Jacobi, Brian Cox, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Frances McDormand.

The acclaimed author Neil Gaiman created this series for Amazon Prime Video and said he’s happy to finally be able to finish the story he plotted alongside Terry Pratchett. He said that the third season will once again deal with the end of the world, and Crowley and Aziraphale are the only ones who can make things right.

The production will soon kick off in Scotland, and it’s safe to expect that the final season will feature six episodes like the previous two.
