“American Horror Story” Has Been Renewed For At Least 4 New Seasons

American Horror Story has been renewed for at least four more seasons.

The FX horror franchise has already been running for nine seasons. Season ten has already been confirmed for later this year and now, FX has confirmed that the show will continue running through to its 13th season.

Each season of the show introduces new characters in a new setting. This means that show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck have been able to deliver season after season of the show without it going stale. Assuming we continue receiving a season a year, the show is expected to run until at least 2023.

“Ryan and Brad are the undisputed masters of horror TV, having created the anthological limited series with American Horror Story and sustaining its success for nearly a decade as FX’s highest-rated series,” FX chairman John Landgraf said in a statement.

“We are grateful to them and Dana Walden and our studio partners for committing to another three years,” he continued. “AHS has showcased a wealth of award-winning actors since day one, and we appreciate the contributions of everyone, including Ryan, Brad and fellow executive producers Tim Minear, James Wong, Alexis Martin Woodall and Bradley Buecker, the writers, directors, cast and crew for each new, unforgettable installment of American Horror Story.

American Horror Story Season 10 is set to air later in 2020.
