The American Horror Story franchise is expanding with a new anthology spinoff, American Horror Stories.

Ryan Murphy, the AHS co-creator and executive producer mentioned the new series in a Zoom call with AHS cast members that was posted on social media. The series will consist of “one hour contained” episodes.

During the Zoom call, Murphy “reminisced about the good times…the spin off we’re doing called “American Horror Stories” (one hour contained episodes)…when we will start filming the next season of the mothership…and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I’m glad we caught up. I miss everyone!”

No further details are known about American Horror Stories, but each episode will be its own individual ghost story and there will be cast members from the main show.

Just over a month ago Murphy unveiled the creepy trailer for Season 10 of AHS and in February he announced that Macaulay Culkin was joining the upcoming season which is set to premiere in fall. AHS has been renewed for three more seasons, taking it at least through Season 13.
