If you’ve spent countless hours playing the popular game Among Us, you’ll be happy to hear there’s a TV adaptation in the works. Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Elijah Wood landed voice roles in CBS Studios’ animated series based on the popular game.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the TV adaptation will most likely embrace the same formula as the original game, which centered on a group of characters trying to root out “imposters” after their crew has been infiltrated by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing chaos and destruction.

Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat) has been cast as the voice of Red, the captain of The Skeld described as a people pleaser and blowhard. He’ll be joined by Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) as the chief of security Purple, Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) as the HR executive Orange, and Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) as the unpaid intern Green.

Among Us was released by Innersloth in 2018, and it experienced a huge rise in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, reaching No. 1 on Google Play in 66 countries in 2020. Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) has developed its animated TV adaptation under his overall deal with CBS Studios.
