Two of Hollywood’s famous redheads are about to have a whole lotta fun!
Amy Adams and Laura Dern are producing a new series currently in development at HBO.
The Most Fun We Ever Had is based on the novel of the same name by Claire Lombardo. Lombardo herself will write the series and executive produce, while Anya Epstein of The Affair will act as showrunner.
The story follows the Sorensons who have been married for 40 years and are parents to four daughters. While their marriage is described as idyllic, the perfection has a counter effect on their children who struggle to exist in the shadow.
The situation is then further complicated when the son one of them gave up for adoption fifteen years earlier unexpectedly returns.
Unfortunately neither Adams (who earned an Emmy nomination for Sharp Objects) or Dern (who recently won an Emmy for Big Little Lies) will be starring in the upcoming HBO series.
