And Just Like That… reunited us with our favorite S-x and the City characters two decades later, and they’re not going away anytime soon. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon will return for another season after Max officially confirmed the show’s revival.
And Just Like That… was originally conceived as a mini-series for HBO Max, but it granted two renewals so far. It’s the streamer’s most-watched returning Max original to date, and its creator Michael Patrick King can’t wait to bring it back for another ride.
“We are thrilled to spend more time in the Sex and the City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors. And Just Like That… here comes Season 3,” he said in a statement.
The second season of this series saw Carrie dealing with the aftermath of Mr. Big’s death and reuniting with her old flame Aidan Shaw (John Corbett). Miranda is still on a journey of self-discovery after her relationship with Che (Sara Ramirez) falls apart, while Charlotte wants to figure out who she is outside of being a devoted wife and mother.
Season 2 of And Just Like That… will conclude with a finale on August 24, which will feature a brief cameo from Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in S-x and the City.
