Daredevil might have been cancelled, but a character from the show will be crossing over to The Punisher.
Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) appeared in the first season of Daredevil but will no longer have the chance to return to a new season of the show after its surprise cancellation following season 3. Now, it has been announced that her character will make a return in the upcoming season of The Punisher.
Punisher executive producer Steve Lightfoot revealed to ScreenRant: “We were shooting while Daredevil was shooting (its final season). Deborah has a huge part in that season… Deborah was very busy, and I didn’t know when I could get her into the show this time around. In the world of the show, that relationship continues to be very important.”
This seems to suggest that she won’t be a regular on the show but will make a brief appearance to tie up loose ends.
Season two of The Punisher will be available to stream on Netflix in January 2019.
