The third season of the hit action crime series Reacher is currently underway, and two supporting players have been added to its cast. Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy will join Alan Ritchson in the next chapter of Jack Reacher’s epic journey.
The next season of Amazon’s hit series will be based on Lee Child’s book Persuader, and it will see Reacher undertake an undercover mission to rescue an informant held by an enemy from his past. Reacher received Season 3 renewal in December, and it’s currently filming in Toronto, Canada.
Hall (Bosch: Legacy) will play Zachary Beck, described as a formidable and successful businessman, who owns a rug import company that seems to be a cover for a more nefarious operation.
As for Cassidy (The Man Who Fell to Earth), she’s been cast as Susan Duffy, an extremely intelligent and tough DEA agent from Boston with a sharp and sarcastic sense of humor.
Reacher grew into quite a hit for Amazon Prime Video and became the streamer’s first show to ever top the Nielsen streaming rankings. Nick Santora serves as its creator and showrunner, in addition to executive producing the series alongside Ritchson and Child, plus Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance.
