The Good Doctor is ending its run with its seventh season, and some of the fan favorites are coming back for the grand finale. Antonia Thomas will be back as Dr. Claire Browne, while Brandon Larracuente will return as his Season 6 character Dr. Daniel Perez.

Thomas’ Dr. Claire Browne was introduced as one of the core characters when The Good Doctor first launched in 2017. She was the closest friend and confidant of Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), but eventually decided to take a job at a medical clinic in Guatemala at the end of Season 4.

This will mark the second time she agreed to return for a guest role since her departure. Thomas previously made a cameo in the two episodes towards the end of Season 5, when Claire returned to attend Shaun and Lea’s (Paige Spara) bachelor/bachelorette party.

As for Larracuente, his character Dr. Daniel Perez was introduced as a recurring player in Season 6, before being promoted to a series regular. He went back to Texas for recovery treatment after a car crash at the end of Season 6, and we’re looking forward to seeing how his story will evolve in the final season.

In addition to Thomas and Larracuente, the final season of The Good Doctor added two more supporting players. Ruby Kelley (PUSH) will recur as Hannah, a young woman seeking opioids for her pressure headaches, and Guillermo Diaz (Scandal) as Man/Carl/Jesus, a mysterious man who wants to donate his kidney to a complete stranger.
