Bad Sisters is one of the most delightful black comedies to premiere on Apple TV+ in recent years, and its second chapter is on the horizon. The streaming giant shared the first look at the second season of the acclaimed series, in addition to announcing a November release date.
The first season of Bad Sisters centers on five close-knit sisters – Sharon Horgan as Eva, Anne-Marie Duff as Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi, and Eve Hewson as Becka – as they deal with the aftermath of the mysterious death of Grace’s abusive husband John Paul (Claes Bang).
The second season will take place two years after the events of the first, and it will see the Garvey sisters struggling to move on.
“When past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed, and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust,” reads the show’s official logline.
In addition to the five leading ladies, Season 2 will also star Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon, and Justine Mitchell.
Bad Sisters will return to Apple TV+ on November 13 with a two-episode premiere, while the rest of the eight-episode season will air weekly.
