Bad Sister managed to get away with murder in the first season of this black comedy, but the past will come back to haunt them in the show’s next chapter. The first trailer for Season 2 is here, and it sees the Garvey sisters dealing with another dead body.
Bad Sister stars Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson as the close-knit Garvey sisters, who are bound together by a promise to always protect one another. Season 1 saw them bending together to prove their innocence after the abusive husband of one of the sisters wound up dead.
Season 2 will see them trying to move on, while dealing with another unexpected death, according to Apple TV’s official logline:
“Two years after the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust.”
In addition to the five leading ladies, Season 2 will mark the return of Daryl McCormack, Michael Smiley, and Saise Quinn. They’ll be joined by several newcomers, including Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, and Peter Claffey.
Bad Sister will return to Apple TV+ for the eight-episode second season on November 13.
