BBC & Netflix Unveil First Look At “Dracula”

The first look of Claes Bang as Count Dracula is finally here. 

The BBC and Netflix have revealed their infamous vampire and according to them, “Hell has a fiiiiire new boss.”

The co-produced reimagining of the classic tale also announced its final casting, which include Lyndsey Marshal (The League of Gentlemen), Chanel Cresswell (This Is England), Matthew Beard (An Education), Lydia West (Years & Years), Paul Brennen (Happy Valley), Sarah Niles (Catastrophe), Sofia Oxenham (Poldark), John McCrea (God’s Own Country), Phil Dunster (Humans), and Millicent Wong.

The reinvention of Bram Stoker’s iconic story has been dubbed as a reintroduction of the vampire who made evil sexy to the world against the backdrop of Victorian London.

The three-part series hails from Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The two previously said in a statement: “There have always been stories about great evil. What’s special about Dracula, is that Bram Stoker gave evil its own hero.”

Filming is currently underway.
