Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is coming back for its second season on AMC later this year, and its next chapter just got a little bit better. Superstore star Ben Feldman will join Alexandra Daddario in the modern-day adaptation of Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches series.

This AMC series puts a modern spin on Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches, and it centers on a young neurosurgeon, Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario). She must grapple with her newfound powers after learning that she’s the unlikely heir to a family of witches.

Feldman joined this series in the role of Sam ‘Lark’ Larkin, Rowan’s former boyfriend who’s trying to re-enter her life after finding success as the CEO of a genetics startup. He’ll be featured as a series regular in Season 2, which is currently in production in New Orleans.

In addition to Feldman, Alyssa Jirrels also joined Mayfair Witches as a series regular for Season 2, while Ted Levine and Thora Birch will be featured in guest starring roles.

Feldman broke onto the scene with his Emmy-nominated turn on Mad Men and went on to star in the NBC sitcom Superstore for six seasons. He’ll next be seen in the 12-part crime dramedy Population 11, developed by Lionsgate and Australian streaming service Stan.
