Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk has promised a mind-blowing final season.
Better Call Saul is the Breaking Bad spinoff that shaped up to be far more exciting than expected. What began as a slow-paced show about lawyers gradually developed into a crime-filled drama of how Saul Goodman broke bad.
The season four finale left us with a cliffhanger as a morally ambiguous Jimmy McGill steps out of the courtroom with a very Saul Goodman grimace. Watching season four unfurl, we thought the show had reached its peak, but Odenkirk as promised season five will be the best yet.
Speaking to Deadline, Odenkirk said: “It’s the best season we’ve ever done, it’s going to blow your mind, and I’m not kidding about either of those things. It’s f**king awesome. I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s just shattering in every direction, and I love it.”
Season five will air on Netflix and AMC in 2020.
