Midge Maisel is a star on her own trajectory.
Fans of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel know that the titular character, played by Rachel Brosnahan, is destined for big things and the creators of the series have now revealed that season three is going to be just as big.
The cast, which includes Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, and Marin Hinkle, had their first table read for the upcoming season this past week, and begin filming on the 20th of March.
“Her journey this year that we’ve set out for her is it’s the first time she’s setting out as a road comic, it’s the first time she’s getting paid for this, it’s the first time she’s going to have consistency, and she’s dealing with audiences that aren’t her people,” creator Amy Sherman-Palladino explained. “That is going to bring its own story twist to it, we’re definitely going to some different places in Season 3.”
