Better Call Saul is a fantastic show in its own right, but one of the best things about it has got to be the appearances of characters from Breaking Bad. We’re watching the prequel out of love of the show after all. Here is a list of the key characters from Breaking Bad which feature in Better Call Saul. If you’re not up to date, then be warned of spoilers.

Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman

In Breaking Bad, he’s Jesse and Walt’s criminal lawyer, Saul Goodman. In Better Call Saul, he’s Jimmy McGill, struggling to become a reputable lawyer. Watching him break bad is a much slower and ambiguous process than watching Walter White break bad, but things are starting to unfold.

Tuco Salamanca

Tuco made his first appearance in season 1 and got everyone excited for more closely related Breaking Bad story lines.

Don Hector Salamanca

Hector Salamanca appears in Better Call Saul only he is not in a wheelchair. We’re still waiting and hoping for a reveal of how he ended up the crippled old man we see in Breaking Bad.

Mike Ehrmantraut

We were so happy to see more of Mike after the shock of Walt killing him in season 5 of Breaking Bad. Learning more about his relationship with Saul is one of the most interesting elements of the show.

Leonel and Marco Salamanca

The silent, badass brothers are back and they’re as terrifying as ever.

Krazy-8

Krazy-8, the first dealer that Walt encounters and kills in Breaking Bad makes a cameo appearance in Better Call Saul. He is working at his dad’s store and comes across as a much more innocent and younger version of the guy that gets choked in Jesse’s basement.
