Netflix recently announced that Benedict will be at the center of the fourth season of Bridgerton, and we finally know who’ll play his love interest. Halo star Yerin Ha has been tapped to play the Season 4 leading lady, Sophie Beckett.

The next season of Netflix’s hit period drama is based on Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer From a Gentleman, and it will chronicle Benedict’s slow-burn romance with Sophie Beckett, the illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids.

“The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down – until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball,” reads Netflix’s official logline.

Luke Thompson will lead the fourth season of Bridgerton alongside Ha, while Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlin, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hannah Dodd are expected to return in supporting roles.

Yerin Ha had a pretty impressive TV resume under her belt even before being cast in Bridgerton. She played key roles in Halo, Troppo, and Bad Behaviour, and will next be seen in Dune: Prophecy.
