Bruce and Alfred Will Be Heading to the Batcave in Gotham Season 5

The Batcave is getting a makeover in the new season of Gotham.

Jonathon Collins, who is the set designer and assistant art director on the show recently teased fans with an Instagram upload giving us a glimpse of the new cave. The post has since been removed but we can conform that the photo showed a figure standing outside a cave entrance as well as winding corridor which gives the impression that Bruce and Alfred will be building the Batcave as they go.

The Batcave has been teased throughout the series but season 5 will be when we start to see the cave grow and reach its full glory. We imagine that more of the show will be set in the cave for the rest of the series.

Producer John Stephens said of the upcoming season:

“We are gonna get to see him [Bruce] make the final steps, you know? We are not gonna leave anything on the table or whatever the phrase is,” he explained.

“We’re gonna put it all on the table, take it off of the table, yeah. I mean, there are not going to be any steps for Bruce Wayne to take to becoming Batman that don’t get taken this season. We’re gonna see him go all the way.”

The fifth and final season of Gotham will air in 2019.
