Carol Burnett is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Spectrum Originals’ Mad About You revival.
Multiple outlets confirm that the original series will reprise her role as Theresa Stemple, Jamie’s (Helen Hunt) mom. According to Deadline, Burnett’s storyline has yet to be revealed.
Burnett and Hunt are joined by original cast members Paul Reiser, John Pankow, and Richard Kind.
The new series is set 20 years after the original series and will explore the Buchman’s (Reiser and Hunt) marriage as new empty-nesters after dropping their daughter Mabel, played by Abby Quinn, off at college.
The first six episodes of the series will be released on November 20, and the final six will arrive on December 18.
