CBC bosses have been pretty busy mapping up their slate for the next season, and one beloved show failed to make the cut. The Canadian sitcom Run the Burbs led by Andrew Pham has officially been canceled after three seasons.

Run the Burbs centers on a young Canadian family with a different approach to living life to the fullest in the suburbs. Andrew Pham is a suburban stay-at-home dad taking care of his two children while his wife Camille pursues a successful career as an entrepreneur.

Andrew Phung co-created this series for CBS alongside Scott Townend and led its cast, which also included Rahkee Morzaria, Zoriah Wong, and Roman Pesino.

Season 3 of Run the Burbs ended its run earlier this month, and Phung announced that CBC won’t be moving forward with Season 4. He also said it was an absolute joy to make this show with the rest of its cast and crew and added he’s proud of what they’ve accomplished.

“We set out to make a funny, heartfelt, high-energy show about the suburbs and the families that make them great. Three years later, we are so proud to have made one of the most diverse and culturally specific comedies to ever come out of this country,” he wrote on Instagram.
