It’s been less than a month since Tracker premiered on CBS, and its future is looking bright. The Justin Hartley-led action series will officially be back for another chapter after CBS gave it a Season 2 renewal.

Based on Jeffery Deaver’s book The Never Game, Tracker follows the adventures of a lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw (Hartley), who uses her expert tracking skills to aid law enforcement and private citizens all around the country to solve mysteries in exchange for reward money.

Tracker was created for CBS by Ben H. Winters, who serves as its co-showrunner alongside Hilary Weisman Graham. In addition to Hartley, this series also stars Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene in supporting roles.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, confirmed the show’s renewal and praised it for kicking off its premiere week with a ratings bang and keeping the momentum going.

“We knew we had something special when we saw the very first cut of the series and the overwhelming audience response confirms it. We couldn’t be more grateful to Justin, the talented cast, the incredible writing and producing teams, and our partners at 20th Television for such compelling episodes,” said Reisenbach in a statement.
