The series adaption of Jack Carr’s The Terminal List statting Chris Pratt has been set at Amazon.

Development for the series and that Pratt will star in and executive produce via Antoine Fuqua’s Fuqua Films was first reported in February.

Pratt will play James Reece, a Navy SEAL veteran, who returns home to his family after his platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes mission. Upon returning home, he has conflicting memories of the event and is questioned about his culpability. When new evidence is presented, Reece discovers forces worked against him that are endangering his life and those he cares most about.

To make sure the series presents an authentic experience and perspective of U.S. veterans, Amazon is using veterans for the writing staff—half the writing staff be either veterans or have veterans in their families. The production also plans to have veterans and their families involved in various aspects of the series.

This won’t be Pratt and Fuqua’s first time working together; they previously worked together in 2016’s The Magnificant Seven where Fuqua directed and Pratt starred. The series marks Pratt’s return to TV as his early roles were in Everwood and Parks and Recreation. More recently, Pratt has become known for his film roles which include the franchise films Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurrasic World and Avengers: Endgame.
