The upcoming drama series The Hunting Wives will soon kick off production, and Starz is rounding out its supporting cast. Chrissy Metz, Jaime Ray Newman, Katie Lowes, and George Ferrier are the latest stars to join the adaptation of May Cobb’s novel.

The Hunting Wives will center on Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow), whose life takes a wild turn after her family moves from the East Coast to Texas. She finds herself consumed by obsession, seduction, and murder after succumbing to the irresistible charms of socialite Margo Bank (Malin Åkerman).

In addition to Snow and Åkerman in the lead roles, The Hunting Wives will also star Evan Jonigkeit (Sweetbitter) and Dermot Mulroney (Hanna) as their husbands. They’ll now be joined by Chrissy Metz (This Is Us), Jaime Ray Newman (Dopesick), Katie Lowes (Scandal), and George Ferrier (One of Us Is Lying).

Metz will play Starr, a proud working-class woman, who doesn’t feel welcomed in the high-society world of the Hunting Wives. Newman will star as Callie, the wife of Sheriff Jonny, who’s the second in command of the Hunting Wives, right behind Margo.

Lowes will play Reverend Clint’s wife Jill, who’s trapped in a loveless marriage and has a complicated relationship with her son Brad, played by Ferrier.
