There’s a lot of anticipation surrounding the third season of Hacks, and Max just added some more fuel to the fire. The streamer announced the guest-starring lineup of the show’s upcoming season, set to include Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, and Christopher Lloyd.
Hunt (As Good as It Gets), Hendricks (Mad Men), and Lloyd (Back to the Future) will guest star in Season 3 of Hacks, and they’ll be joined by Dan Bucatinsky (Marry Me), stand-up comedian George Wallace, and Tony Goldwyn (Scandal) in mystery roles.
Hannah Einbinder will be back as a struggling young comedian Ava Daniels, who’s been hired to help the Las Vegas comedy icon Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) put a modern twist on her old act.
According to Max’s official logline, Season 3 will see Deborah Vance “riding high off the success of her standup special while Ave pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles” a year after parting ways.
Series regulars Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo will also be back for Season 3. They’ll be joined by former recurring players Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter, who’ve also been promoted to series regulars.
Season 3 of Hacks still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s expected to premiere on Max this spring.
