
Colman Domingo landed a few amazing roles following the success of Rustin, and he’s ready for more! The Oscar-nominated actor will star opposite Tina Fey and Steve Carell in Netflix’s upcoming comedy series The Four Seasons, based on the ’80s movie of the same name.
Led by Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno, Sandy Dennis, and Len Cariou, the original The Four Seasons centered on three married couples who take a vacation together each season. Their vacation plans are suddenly ruined when one of the couples gets divorced.
Domingo will star opposite 30 Rock’s Tina Fey and The Office’s Steve Carell. The identity of his character remains a mystery, but we know he’ll be one of the series regulars.
In addition to playing one of the lead roles, Fey co-created this series alongside Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, and they’re executive producing it with David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond.
Colman Domingo is fresh off another groundbreaking year, after starring in The Color Purple and Rustin, which earned him nominations for multiple accolades, including an Oscar. On the TV side, he’s best known as Victor Strand from Fear the Walking Dead and Ali from Euphoria, for which he won an Emmy for outstanding guest actor in a drama series.
