Oscar winner Jessica Chastain is getting ready to lead The Savant, and this Apple TV+ series just rounded out its supporting cast. Cole Doman, Michael Mosley, and Dagmara Dominczyk are among the eight new cast members joining Chastain in this limited series.
Melissa James Gibson serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner of this series, which draws inspiration from a true story published by Cosmopolitan in 2019. Chastain will portray a top-secret investigator known as the Savant, who infiltrates online hate groups in an attempt to stop large-scale attacks and take down the most violent men in the country.
Nnamdi Asomugha and James Badge Dale have previously been added to the show’s cast in supporting roles, and they’ll be in pretty good company. Eight new cast members just joined the cast, starting with Michael Mosley (The Sinner), Dagmara Dominczyk (Succession), and Cole Doman (Gossip Girl).
The Savant cast will also include Jordana Spiro (Ozark), Hannah Gross (Essex County), David Wilson Barnes (George & Tammy), and relative newcomers Toussaint Francois Battiste and Trinity Lee Shirley.
The Savant will feature a total of eight episodes, and Jessica Chastain is coming on board as one of its executive producers via her Freckle Films banner.
