AMC’s horror anthology series The Terror is a gift that keeps on giving, and its next chapter is shaping up to be amazing. Dan Stevens landed a lead role in the third installment The Terror: Devil in Silver, and he’s coming on board as one of the executive producers.

Stevens will lead next season as Pepper, described as “a working-class moving man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with the people society would rather forget.”

Everyone from the patients to the doctors who harbor grim secrets seems to be working against him, and Pepper must navigate this hellscape and face down a sinister entity that thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls on his path to freedom.

Stevens is also coming on board as one of the executive producers, and he said he’s looking forward to delivering something epic with The Terror: Devil in Silver.

“This series is a dark symphony of psychological horror and gripping drama, set to rock the audience. Victor LaValle, Christopher Cantwell, and this incredible team have crafted a unique and twisted dance of devils and shadows,” he said in a statement.
