Chicago Med featured some pretty impressive cast members over the years, and the upcoming tenth season will continue this tradition. Darren Barnet and Sarah Ramos joined Season 10 of NBC’s medical drama ahead of its return this fall.
Ramos joined the cast of Dr. Caitlin Lenox, an ED Attending poised to get Gaffney Medical into shape. Barnet will play Dr. John Frost, a pediatric resident who is harboring a secret. They’re both stepping in as series regulars, following the departure of Chicago Med veterans Diane Frolov and Andy Schneider.
Barnet and Ramos are joining the ensemble cast that also includes S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt, Marlyne Barrett, Jessy Schram, Steven Weber, and Luke Mitchell. In addition to welcoming several new cast members, Season 10 will also mark the arrival of the new showrunner Allen MacDonald.
Darren Barnet rose to prominence while starring in Netflix’s teen drama Never Have I Ever, and we’ve recently seen him star in the hit rom-com Anyone But You and Amazon’s remake of Road House. Sarah Ramos is the star of Parenthood, and her recent credits include The Bear and Babylon.
Chicago Med will return for a new season on NBC on September 25, before streaming on Peacock the next day.
