After eight glorious seasons, the hit DC series Arrow is due to come to an end later this year. Fortunately, fans who are dreading the show’s end will not have to say goodbye to the characters forever.

Serial Box has confirmed that the characters will be returning for an audio sequel series. The series is based on the Arrowverse, and The Flash and Supergirl will also make their respective returns.

Of the three audio sequels, the first to launch will be an eight-episode series of The Flash. In this universe, Lex Luther has altered the past so The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow are all fighting on the side of evil.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to super-serve fans of these incredibly popular series with new stories,” Serial Box co-founder and CEO Molly Barton said in a statement. “We look forward to working closely with the Berlanti team to ensure that their creations make a seamless transition to our audio and reading formats.”

The Flash audio sequel series will land this fall.
