Good news — Dead to Me is not dead.
Netflix has decided to renew the dark comedy which premiered last month for a second season.
The series stars Christina Applegate (Jen) and Linda Cardinelli (Judy) as two women who become friends after Jen’s husband dies. Except there is a huge secret beneath the surface.
Season 1 of the show ended on a cliffhanger (another death), so the confirmation of season two is all too welcome.
The announcement was made by creator Liz Feldman who will return as showrunner for the sophomore installment.
Dead to Me’s second season will once again consist of 10 episodes which will debut in 2020.
At least we don’t have to join a grief support group.
