Netflix dropped a teaser trailer for the second season of the dark comedy Dead to Me starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.
The series was created by Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls) and the second season will be released on Friday, May 8. Dead to Me follows Jen (Applegate), a widow who’s set on solving her husband’s hit-and-run murder and Judy (Cardellini), a free spirit who’s suffered her own loss.
Season 2 will start with the aftermath of the bloody backyard reveal at the end of the first season, with Jen and Judy trying to keep their secrets, but with a new visitor in town and Detective Perez (Diana Maria Riva), they’ll do anything to protect their families and each other, no matter the cost.
Also starring in Dead to Me are James Marsden, Sam Mcarthy, and Brandon Scott.
