If there’s something we’ve learnt from watching 7 seasons of Game of Thrones, it’s that Valar Morghulis. All men must die.
The final season of the hit HBO show is not expected to be any less morbid if the latest trailer is anything to go by.
Starting with Arya Stark breathing heavily before running for what seems like her life, she can then be heard saying, “I know Death. He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”
As if to further emphasise the death angle, Jaime Lannister says later in the trailer that he is fighting for the living in the upcoming battle between the armies of the living (aka all our favourite characters) and the dead (those nasty White Walkers).
Whilst the main focus of the final series is set to focus on the grand battle, we are also likely to see who finally sits on the Iron Throne for good.
As Bran says: “Everything you did brought you where you are now.”
