The Starz drama The Hunting Wives is slowly rounding out its cast, and two more actors just hopped on board. Dermot Mulroney and Evan Jonigkeit will star alongside Malin Åkerman and Brittany Snow in this intriguing adaptation of May Cobb’s book of the same name.

The Hunting Wives will center on Sophie (Snow), whose life becomes consumed by obsession, seduction, and murder after she moves to east Texas and falls under the spell of the charming socialite Margo Banks (Åkerman).

Mulroney’s character Jed Banks has been described as “a fifth-generation oil man, alpha millionaire and the husband of trophy-wife Margo” who “loves nothing more than bringing guest stars into their marital bed.”

Jonigkeit will join the cast in the role of Sophie’s somewhat clueless husband Graham O’Neill, who doesn’t know how to handle her emotional baggage, especially once she develops an unlikely friendship with Margot after moving to Texas.

Mulroney most recently starred in the rom-com Anyone but You and Disney+ series Secret Invasion and The Hunting Wives will mark his first major TV role since Hanna. As for Jonigkeit, his filmography includes films X-Men: Days of Future Past, Bone Tomahawk, and Easy, plus TV shows Frontier, Sweetbitter, and Archive 81.
