Dexter: Original Sin is one of the buzziest prequel series coming our way this year, and we finally know more about it. Paramount+ gave us a look at the young Dexter Morgan in the first teaser trailer for this promising series, which also confirms its December release date.
The original Dexter star Michael C. Hall is narrating the first teaser, which hears him saying, “I am a killer, but I wasn’t born this way. I was made by my history, by the people around me. They say it takes a village to raise a killer,” while Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” plays in the background.
Dexter: Original Sin will take us to the ’90s Miami, and see the young Dexter starting a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department while learning to channel his inner darkness and developing his signature code with the help of his father before embarking on a killing spree.
Patrick Gibson will play the young version of the character, and he’ll be joined by Christian Slater, Patrick Dempsey, Molly Brown, James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, and Sarah Michelle Gellar in supporting roles.
Dexter: Original Sin will feature ten episodes, set to premiere on Paramount+ on December 15 before making its linear debut two days later.
