The first season of Loki was one wild rollercoaster, and things will get even more chaotic in the upcoming Season 2. The first trailer for the next chapter of this Disney+ series is here, and it shows the God of Mischief slipping through time and exploring countless alternative universes.

The new teaser opens on a light note, with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) seeking out the Time Variance Authority archivist OB (Ke Huy Quan). He informs them that Loki is experiencing a condition known as time-slipping, but there’s no solution in sight to this problem.

Loki’s voiceover in the trailer teases a bleak reality that he’ll have to face in the show’s second season: “I’m being pulled through time, between the past and the present. If what I saw is true, there’s nothing that stands between this world and utter destruction.”

In addition to Hiddleston and Wilson, the second season of Loki will feature several more familiar faces, including Eugene Cordero, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Tara Strong, and Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr will join them in undisclosed roles.

Season 2 of Loki will arrive on Disney+ on October 6, and it will feature six brand-new episodes. It will be a part of the MCU’s Phase Five, along with Samuel L. Jackson-fronted Secret Invasion which premiered last month, and the upcoming series Echo, set to arrive in November.
